SU sophomore Demetria Woods' cumulative 3.6 gpa has led the Lady Jaguar Tennis Team to a spot on the prestigious Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team.

BATON ROUGE -- ESPN National Football League and college football analystHerm Edwards will serve as keynote speaker at the kickoff banquet for the sixth annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge Presented by Disney. A former standout defensive back for the Philadelphia Eagles, Edwards was also head coach of the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs.
